Stadtradeln 2025: We joined in – and celebrate our top rider

Once again, OWIS took part in the "Stadtradeln" cycling campaign in Staufen. 14 colleagues pedaled together – for greater sustainability, fewer emissions and, above all, for a great sense of team spirit.

5,107 kilometers, 837.5 kg of CO₂ saved and 6th place in our local municipality. Not too bad!

We’re especially proud of Fabian Giesin, who made a significant contribution to the team effort and was awarded the title of Best Individual Cyclist in Staufen. Deputy Mayor Thomas End presented him with the certificate on the town square, along with Ursula Harrs, who coordinates the Stadtradeln campaign in Staufen.

Rüdiger Friedlein was also honored for cycling more than 1,000 kilometers. The OWIS team as a whole received recognition for third place in the "most kilometers per person" category. (Only seven kilometers were missing for second place!)

A sporty success – and a lot of fun, too

What really matters to us? Team spirit, shared goals, and enjoying the ride together. At OWIS, "Stadtradeln" has long been more than just a campaign – it’s a valued part of our sustainable mindset and culture.
